About this role

We are looking for a leader who will own the overall vision, growth, and performance of the campus, not just its day-to-day academics. Along with strong leadership experience, the candidate must have real, hands-on experience with liberal education — the modern teaching style used by new-age institutes, where students learn through discussion, projects, and real-world exposure instead of only textbooks and lectures. This experience is essential for the role

Key Responsibilities:
Institutional Leadership & Strategy

- Own the overall vision, strategy, and growth plan for Inspiria
- Be accountable to the Governing Council / Board for institutional performance, growth, and reputation.
- Set annual and long-term goals for enrollment, revenue, brand, and academic quality.
- Take key decisions on new programmes, schools, partnerships, and expansion.

Academic Vision & Pedagogy

- Introduce a liberal, modern style of teaching — discussion-based classes, projects, and real-world learning instead of only lectures and textbooks.
- Lead and guide the academic direction of the campus across all schools.
- Ensure the college follows all rules and standards set by MAKAUT, AICTE, and NAAC and drive the institution towards being Autonomous.

People & Faculty

- Hire, guide, and support faculty and senior staff; build a strong leadership team under you.
- Encourage and hire teachers with industry or practical experience.
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and performance across the organisation.

Business, Brand & Growth

- Strengthen ties with companies for internships, placements, and student exposure to real work.
- Drive admissions growth and help build Inspiria's brand and reputation regionally.
- Represent the college to parents, industry partners, investors, and other institutions.

### Requirements
Desired Attributes:

- Owns outcomes, takes decisions, and drives growth like a business leader, not just an administrator.
- Genuinely believes in modern, liberal education — not just familiar with the idea.
- Comfortable bringing new teaching methods and change to a traditional setup.
- Good with people — students, teachers, parents, and industry partners alike.
- Willing to be based full-time in Siliguri, West Bengal.
