Pay Details
$87,100.00 per year
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,700
- Opportunity to work a 6th day for additional earnings
Job Details
- Dedicated semi-local furniture delivery account
- Average approximately 1,850 miles per week
- Deliver throughout PA, NJ, CT, MD, VA, DC, NY, and occasionally MA
- Average 5-7 loads per week with 1-3 stops per trailer
- Long Island deliveries approximately once per week — no NYC deliveries
- Pick up dunnage or backhauls for return trips
- Driver assist required: tailgate and hand-move boxed freight to the rear of the trailer
- Automatic day cab equipment
- Hotel provided for overnight runs
Shift Details
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Start times between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM
- Weekend work as needed
- Optional 6th day available for extra earnings
- Expect 1-2 overnight stays per week
- Home most days
- Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A driver's license
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- No SAP drivers
- Able to assist with hand unloading and moving boxed freight
- Must consistently deliver on time
- Uniform required
