Responsibilities

Reyes Fleet Management , One of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is hiring a Trailer Technician B at our Refurb Center in San Bernardino, CA. This role will primarily handle repairs on new and refurbished trailers.

Position Responsibilities:

- The Trailer Upfitting Technician is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of company fleet assets within the Company

- As a Trailer Upfitting Technician, you will assist with diagnosing and detailed inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software

- You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system

- You will install trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics as well as perform basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience

- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)

- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles

Preferred Education and Experience:

- Technical School Certification
