Operator, Chemical

We are looking for a Production Operator for the Industry & Water segment in Fontana, CA. This position performs work safely in accordance with established procedures; troubleshoots problems; performs lab analysis tasks; and ensures the proper operation of all equipment.

I n this role you’ll be responsible for:

- Monitoring tank levels and process instrumentation

- Operating pumps, valves, filter presses, controls and other operating devices

- Loading finished goods,

- Connecting/disconnecting railroad cars

- Operating the fork trucks, skid steers and overhead cranes

- And any other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the team:

- High school diploma or GED required; technical school or process operations coursework preferred.

- 1+ years of experience in chemical plant operations, industrial manufacturing, or similar environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication.

- Good interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

- Experience working with little supervision.

- Experience with MS office applications including word, excel, power point and outlook.

The hourly rate for consideration for this position is $28.06 per hour with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, paid time off, life/disability insurance and a 401k retirement plan (which includes a company match).
