About this role

The department Carbon Capture and Utilization / Storage (CCUS) in Heidelberg is looking for an Intern (f/m/d) or Working Student.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

- Contribute to the CO2 Neutrality Roadmap 2050, i.e., pro-actively shape the success story of Heidelberg Materials’ decarbonization journey
- Support the development of a range of CCUS (Carbon Capture and Utilization/Storage) projects in close collaboration within our CCUS department
- Interaction with our various business entities in different countries and also external partner firms is possible
- As an integral part of the Team, working on own projects with own responsibilities (with clear guidance), preparing analyses, business cases, and presentations
- Support organization of key events within CCUS
- Support the CCUS department in its role of building and exchanging know-how (research, scouting, and structuring reports)

YOUR PROFILE

- Technical and/or business administration Bachelor's or Master's degree studies, with a strong interest in sustainability/carbon capturing/decarbonization
- Keen to dive into the detailed technical and financial aspects of CCUS project development
- Ability to digest new information swiftly
- Experience with Power Point, Excel. Optional: other Microsoft office tools, AI tools
- Dynamic attitude and willingness to interact with our CCUS team, and external/internal stakeholders
