Stables Maintenance Assistant (Casual)
Key Responsibilities:
- ### To carry out basic repairs within the Stables buildings and surrounding facilities.
- ### To carry out basic repairs within the Stables buildings and surrounding facilities.
- ### To undertake basic carpentry, plumbing and painting as required.
- ### To use and maintain basic hand-held tools and equipment.
- ### To monitor and maintain stocks of basic maintenance equipment and materials.
- ### To carry out general gardening duties as required.
- ### To maintain lawns, borders and surrounding outdoor areas.
- ### To assist with planting, pruning, weeding and watering.
- ### To prepare and maintain soil, including digging, mulching and fertilising.
- ### To use and maintain basic gardening tools and equipment.
- ### To report equipment faults and major repair requirements to the Stables Manager.
Knowledge and Skills:
- ### Previous experience working in basic maintenance.
- ### Clean driving licence.
- ### Physically fit
- ### An interest in horses (desirable)
