About this role

Futures Division clears   30   Exchange globally and reconciles over 70+ balancing sheets. Clearing team is responsible for managing all clients and executing   brokers   cleared trades and requires a   strong and   motivated   Director   with in-depth understanding and a subject matter expert on Clearing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure all trades are cleared,   allocated   and booked correctly in client account on trade date

- Liaise   with Exchanges,   carry   broker s   and clients on trade issues   &   ensure prompt resolution

- Master firms’ back-office systems and middleware viz GMI, LISA, DUCO , RPA   etc.

- Assist Clearing manager to lead and manage projects, drive automation and streamline Clearing processes including new business initiatives on top of daily operational activities

- Provide guidance and   assistance   to team members and help them resolve issues which require clear and in depth understanding of the process

- Keeps abreast of the latest industry and regulatory   developments   including p romp t replies   to Exchange , R egulators   and Auditors.

- Work closely with Operations team   &   other Departments   viz Front Office, Compliance, Risk etc.

- Cover   12   –   8   pm   shift to ensure seamless   end of day   processing

- Flexible to work   on US Holiday on rotational basis

Qualifications/Skills

- 5- 10   years   of   relevant   experience including   working   knowledge of GMI , LISA   & DUCO

- Firm understanding of Futures & Options trade life cycle and   expertise   in break resolution

- Well-developed management skills and relevant experience managing operational functions

- Proficiency   in Excel,   Word , and Outlook

- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.

- Dynamic & proactive team player with the ability to   identify   process inefficiencies to improve capacity, efficiency, and control.

- Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative.

- Team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism.

- Proper escalation of issues.

- Strong time management skills are   required   to meet time critical deadlines and priorities.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills; notably the ability to clearly articulate issues and influence resolution.

- Have a growth mindset

The expected base salary ranges from $130,000- $175,000 Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
