Warehouse Administrator

Our Warehouse Administrator is be responsible for releasing orders to the warehouse shipping department, quoting orders for carriers, scheduling truckloads using the appropriate method, and consistently reviewing open orders. This position will work closely, and communicate regularly with different departments of the business and report to the Warehouse Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Release all daily orders to the floor for shipping.

- Route customer orders based on customer provided route guides.

- Use system tools to determine and assign appropriate transportation methods to the orders.

- Use carrier portals to schedule pickups.

- Provide proactive and extraordinary communication to all external and internal customers. This responsibility includes maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.

- Consistently review open orders.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

- Primarily working indoors, office environment.

- May sit for several hours at a time.

- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.

- Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

- Computer Skills Basic computer skills required

- Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work space

- Cross-functional skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments; multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team setting, and effectively to both internal and external customer.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be able to pass EVerify.
