Description
The Virtual Water Technician is a general laborer working in our molding department making water equivalent plastics. This position will work 1st shift, do a variety of tasks, will get dirty and will work as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Follow production procedures and complete tasks per the Production schedule for manufacturing virtual water products.
- Mix ingredients following the recipe, while completing documentation for each batch.
- Execute in-process quality control procedures, tests and tasks per procedures, quality plans, and checklists.
- Perform mold setup and de-molding procedures and tasks per Production procedures.
- Perform finishing/cleaning procedures
- General machining, as needed.
- Ability to run a table saw to cut virtual water (training will be provided)
- Assist with final order packaging
- Maintain production records/logs
- Work with a safety mindset and follow safety protocols.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout Production area.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

- You are self-motivated, dependable, and have a team-oriented attitude
- A safety mindset
- The ability to lift & move 50 – 80 pounds (in short bursts)
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in hands-on manufacturing work
- Ability to stand, move, bend, and perform hands-on work throughout the workday
- Ability to communicate, read, write in English
- Basic math skills, including the ability to follow measurements and material recipes
- Experience with manufacturing record keeping, preferred
