Field Integration Technician

JOB ROLE SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for installing access control systems, video surveillance and other electro-mechanical products at commercial businesses.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Installation of new material such as Access control systems (e.g., HID, Mercury).
- Install and configure security cameras, NVR/ DVR systems, and video management software.
- Wire and terminate low-voltage cabling (CAT5/6, composite cable, etc.)
- Mount and connect electronic door hardware (maglocks, strikes, electrified locks, request-to-exit devices, etc.)
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment and wiring.
- Read and interpret Floor Plans, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and system configurations.
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA, etc.)
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 80lbs.
- Ability to work in various weather elements.
- Ability to use various hand tools
- Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and team members.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
