Job Description
The Student Worker, Information Center is responsible for providing assistance to the Information Center team.
Responsibilities
- Schedule upgrades to Microsoft operating systems.
- Troubleshoot failed and missing Microsoft operating system updates and security patches.
- Investigate failed 3rd party security patches and updates.
- Document and share troubleshooting methods and solutions.
- Assist in delivery and setup of computer hardware at multiple Fort Smith, AR campus locations.
- Assist with minor computer support tasks.
- Assist in the process of salvaging computer equipment including documenting salvage items and placement in a shipping container.
- Assist in the process of receiving new and used equipment, including documenting items and transporting them to storage.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- Currently pursuing a college degree.
Experience:
- No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Other Details
Work Hours:
- This is a part-time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

- Minimal (0%-25%)
Compensation:
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
