ASSISTANT TENNIS PROFESSIONAL

The Four Seasons   Resort   Lāna’i   is looking   for   a n   Assistant Tennis Professional   who share s   a passion for excellence and who infuse s   enthusiasm into everything they do.   Ou r   teams   h ave the opportunity to   shape our   guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge o f the Resort   and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.   Work authorization   r equired .

WHAT YOU’LL   DO

The Assistant Tennis Professional supports the Head Tennis Professional in delivering exceptional tennis and pickleball programs by leading private lessons, clinics, and group activities for guests of all ages and skill levels. This role plays a key part in creating engaging, high-quality experiences that reflect the highest standards of instruction, guest service, and professionalism. Responsibilities   include , but are not limited to:

- Assist the Head Tennis Professional in delivering tennis and pickleball lessons, clinics, and group programming; support pickleball growth; manage pro shop systems, retail needs, racquet stringing, and equipment recommendations.

- Provide a welcoming, high‑level guest experience including facility orientation, program explanation, equipment and towel service, and   accurate   entry of guest information into the reservation system.

- Maintain the tennis shop and facilities, including court setup and breakdown, cleaning, organizing retail areas, and keeping supplies fully stocked.

- Answer phones and manage reservations to Four Seasons standards, while professionally   assisting   guests with resort and local information.

- Maintain strong knowledge of programs and court availability,   anticipate   guest needs, recognize returning guests, and provide personalized service.

- Ability to drive to support coverage at the Koele Tennis Facility in Lanai City.

WHAT TO   BRING

- Successful candidate must   possess   legal work authorization in United States

- The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a   day   and s cheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is   required .

- Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card

- Valid   Hawaii Driver’s   Lice ns e

- A bility to stand for extended periods,   lift up   to   6 0   lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts

- Minimum 1 year of experience in the tennis industry as a full-time instructor preferred; experience in a resort, country club, or luxury tennis environment is a plus

- Strong customer service skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to   maintain   an organized workspace

- Professional demeanor with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, medium-volume setting

- Willingness to learn and   assist   with group programming, including adult cardio tennis, junior clinics, and advanced player clinics

- Ability to work individually with players of all levels, from beginner to advanced

- Minimum NTRP rating of 4.5   required ; 5.0 preferred
