About the Role

As the Finance Business Partner at JBS Australia, you will play a critical role in partnering with the Sales leadership team to drive financial performance, strategic decision-making and revenue optimisation across the Southern Division. Acting as a trusted commercial advisor, you will provide meaningful insights, analysis and performance reporting that influence business outcomes, support long-range planning and strengthen the division's integrated business planning processes. This is a highly visible role that combines financial expertise with commercial acumen to help shape the future performance of one of Australia's leading beef businesses.

What You'll Be Doing

- Partner with Sales Managers and Finance leaders to develop financial strategies, annual budgets and business plans.

- Monitor and analyse the financial performance of the Beef division, providing insights and recommendations to enhance business outcomes.

- Drive forecasting, planning and performance management activities across the sales function.

- Influence the revenue management agenda by identifying opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce unsold inventory positions.

- Deliver meaningful financial reporting, performance insights and key drivers to support decision-making and integrated business planning processes.

- Provide commercial guidance to sales stakeholders with consideration for profitability, working capital and cashflow objectives.

- Assess business risks and work closely with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and recommendations.

- Support strategic initiatives, business cases and capital projects through robust financial analysis and due diligence.

- Coordinate executive-level reporting and contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews and business performance forums.

- Drive compliance, governance and financial control activities while maintaining accurate financial documentation and reporting standards.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.

- CPA or CMA qualification preferred.

- Significant experience within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), commercial finance or finance business partnering roles.

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights.

- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or protein processing environments highly regarded.

- Exceptional analytical, financial modelling and forecasting capabilities.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders across multiple functions.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both a strategic and operational level.

- Strong project management, problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.
