About this role

1st Shift Only!

The janitor assists in all phases of the plant cleaning process

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize break rooms, including tables, counters, microwaves, refrigerators, and floors.

- Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility and replace liners as needed.

- Refill supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap dispensers, and other consumables in restrooms and common areas.

- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas.

- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities Supervisor.

- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.

- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Cleaning departments such as;

- RTE/RAW/CB/MAINTENANCE/WAREHOUSE/SUPPORT CENTER(SCHOOL)/QA LAB RESTROOMS/MAIN ENTRY WAY AND OUTSIDE AREAS/SUPPLIES

Work Environment:

- Production areas have moderate to loud noise levels.

- Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.

- You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays, or the possibility of working in another department as needed.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)

- Walk on slippery wet surfaces.

- Hand/eye coordination.

- Handling (holding, grasping).

- Seeing/depth perception.

- Walk/stand 100% of shift.

- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

- Occasionally required to reach at/or above shoulder level.

- Occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.

- Repetitive motions and movements throughout the scheduled shift.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Punctual and good attendance.

- Good communication, math, read and writing skills.

- Able to complete Quality, Safety training

- Able to work at a fast pace, repetitive and work environment

- Ability to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce.

- Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

- Quality, safety-minded, reliable, precise, and self-motivated.

- Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.

- Able to lift up to 50lbs, twisting, turning, and bending.

- MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER
