About the Role

The Private Banker – First Private is responsible for acquiring and managing relationships with High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs) and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNIs). The role focuses on delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions, including investment, insurance, and other banking products, to meet the sophisticated financial needs of private banking clients. The role holder is expected to drive fee income, ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and position IDFC FIRST Bank as the preferred financial partner for affluent clients.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Acquire HNI and UHNI clients through natural market outreach, open market activities, and referrals from internal sources such as branches and digital networks.
- Manage end-to-end customer relationships by addressing all banking and wealth management needs.
- Provide a seamless and personalized banking experience, both in terms of product offerings and relationship management.
- Drive cross-sell of investment, insurance, and other bank products to generate fee income.
- Achieve high customer satisfaction scores by delivering consistent and high-quality service.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain a strong relationship management orientation with a focus on service excellence.
- Demonstrate a results-driven approach with a strong execution mindset.

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Ensure adequate staffing and capability building across the team.
- Drive target achievement and monitor team performance to meet business goals.

What We Are Looking For

Education

- Graduation: Any discipline (Full-Time)
- Postgraduation: MBA / PGDM (Preferred)

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, or allied financial services.
