About this role
As a CRO Intern, you will use a mix of creativity and analytical thinking to understand website behavior, identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, and support the execution of optimization strategies. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong communication and coordination skills. The ideal candidate should be data-driven, curious, and willing to learn how user behavior impacts design and conversions. Exposure to UI/UX wireframing would be an added advantage.
What you do:
- Assist in analyzing website performance using qualitative tools (heatmaps, session recordings, surveys) and quantitative tools (Google Analytics or similar)
- Support the team in identifying user behavior patterns and potential areas of improvement in the conversion funnel
- Help in setting up and maintaining basic tracking frameworks to monitor key metrics and user journeys
- Contribute to understanding the “why” behind user actions and assist in forming actionable insights
- Support ongoing optimization efforts across landing pages, product pages, forms, and CTAs
- Assist in the experimentation process, including hypothesis creation, test setup, QA, and result analysis
- Help prepare reports and documentation for A/B testing and optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and analysts to support smooth project execution
- Stay updated with CRO trends, tools, and best practices through continuous learning
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of UI/UX best practices for websites
- Knowledge of Google Analytics (or similar tools)
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts or any exposure to campaigns impacting website performance would be a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, VWO, Adobe Target, Optimizely, Google Optimize, etc. would be an advantage
- Exposure to research tools like Hotjar, CrazyEgg, LuckyOrange, or similar platforms is a plus
- Basic understanding of SEO, paid campaigns, or landing page optimization would be beneficial
- Strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
