Senior Solutions Engineer

## Job Summary

The Senior Solution Engineer (SE) collaborates closely with client executives to align NetApp's technical strategy with the customer's long-term vision and goals. The SE addresses business and IT challenges by providing uniquely differentiated solutions. This role involves engaging with a wide range of customer stakeholders and leveraging the appropriate NetApp team and expertise in solutions, products, ecosystems, and industry knowledge.

## Job Requirements

As a Senior Solutions Engineer in NetApp's Sales Function, you will primarily provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. You will utilise your technical expertise and our cutting-edge data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs and deliver successful business results, focusing on expanding our presence within existing and new clients together with business partners.

- Leverage in-depth product knowledge to deliver technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers
- Collaborate with sales staff to assess customer needs, design tailored storage solutions, and prepare detailed product specifications for implementation
- Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems with strong knowledge of  NAS, SAN, and Object Storage , including enterprise and  Cloud Services  environments
- Build proof-of-concept applications and rapid prototypes to demonstrate solution feasibility to clients
- Provide consultation, product capability assessments, and  ROI/TCO  analysis to articulate the competitive advantages of  NetApp storage solutions
- Deliver deep expertise across the  Storage and Data Management vendor ecosystem , including prior experience with  backup solutions
- Collaborate with client executives and partner sales teams to develop strategies that drive customer opportunities and advise on the utilization of broader technical resources

## Education

· At least 12 Years of experience and expertise in technical specifications on storage product and services

· Prior experience of working in capacity of Solutions Engineer, Pre Sales Architect, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect on storage technologies

· (Preferred) Specialised knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application or DevOps is advantageous

· Operate as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and has the ability to influence Sales team, driving initiatives and act as a Decision-maker on Projects
