About FPRT

FirePoint Rocket Technology is building one of Denmark’s most unique and strategically important industrial projects - a greenfield production facility for solid rocket propellant and advanced defense-tech components. Our ambition is significant: we are scaling from an early operational phase to 200+ employees within the next 18 months.

Joining us now means becoming part of the core team shaping a high-tech, safety-critical production environment from the ground up. We are looking for a Strategic Projects Manager who will act as the execution anchor for complex industrial initiatives, enabling our leadership team to move business-critical projects forward with speed, structure, and accountability.

The Role

As the Strategic Projects Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating high-priority, cross-functional projects across the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as a pragmatic driver who translates ambiguous objectives into structured, executed plans - particularly across our scaling plant operations, infrastructure, CAPEX investments, and cross-departmental readiness initiatives.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring direct project execution and a strong ownership mindset. You will be expected to build project structures, coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders, manage contractors, and establish light, effective governance without relying on a dedicated PMO or administrative support team.

What You Will Do

Cross-Functional Industrial & Operations Execution

- Lead strategic, cross-functional, and operational readiness projects from scoping through execution, installation, and closure.
- Build project structures, execution baselines, milestones, and governance frameworks suited to a developing greenfield environment.
- Drive alignment and accountability across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Legal, Security, QHSE, and external contractors.

CAPEX & Infrastructure Project Management

- Manage complex industrial infrastructure, facility, and equipment-related projects in live operational or scaling environments.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, and external vendors to deliver capital projects on schedule and within budget.
- Support capital investment planning, evaluation of project proposals, and cost-efficiency initiatives.

Planning, Governance & Risk Control

- Establish lean reporting routines, action tracking, and risk/dependency management (RAID logs) to maintain visibility across parallel initiatives.
- Identify project blockers, contractor dependencies, and potential delays early, driving practical solutions and escalating risks directly to senior leadership.
- Prioritize momentum and practical execution over excessive methodology, operating comfortably with incomplete information.

Business Documentation & Executive Communication

- Prepare clear, executive-ready project updates, summaries, and decision-support materials for the CEO and leadership team.
- Consolidate complex technical, operational, and commercial inputs into structured decision papers and executive presentations.
- Proactively challenge assumptions using clear data and business logic, while ensuring full alignment once decisions are made.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience & Skills:

- Strong analytical background with the ability to structure complex business problems and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Ability to work in fast-moving, ambiguous, and scaling environments.
- Strong planning, structuring, follow-up, and execution discipline.
- High level of written communication and presentation support capability in English. Danish is an advantage.
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership on sensitive or business-critical topics.
- Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written English communication; fluency in Danish is strongly preferred.

Preferred / Advantageous:

- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, technical, defense, aerospace, energy, or other complex operating environments.
- Experience in Big 4 advisory, consulting, transactions, due diligence or corporate finance is highly desirable.
- Experience with grant applications, business cases, investor / bank materials, or transformation projects is a strong advantage.
- Experience building structure in greenfield or scale-up environments is highly valuable.
- Familiarity with project governance tools, budgeting logic, and implementation follow-up.
- PMO, transformation, consulting, or strategic operations background is an advantage.

Mindset & Cultural Fit:

- Direct Ownership: High sense of personal accountability—takes tasks and figures out how to move them forward autonomously.
- Open & Solution-Oriented: Values direct communication, transparency, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Adaptable: Able to balance a natural preference for structure with the speed and flexibility required in an evolving organization.

What We Offer

- A direct role in executing one of Denmark’s most unique industrial defense-tech greenfield developments.
- Direct visibility and execution partnership with the CEO and senior leadership.
- Greenfield culture: high authority, fast decisions, clear accountability, and zero toxic bureaucracy.
- Brand-new factory facilities and high-quality office workspace.
- Top-of-market compensation matching experience.

Security Clearance & Vetting Notice

Due to the sensitive defense-tech nature of our projects and operations, all potential employees are subject to a police and intelligence background check as part of our recruitment process. Continued employment is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining the necessary security clearance.
