Your responsibilities
- Coordinating cord blood/sample logistics, ordering, and lab safety (BSL-2)
- Establishing and maintaining ABMO and ATO organoid cultures from CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells
- Performing CRISPR genome editing (lentiviral transduction, Cas9 mRNA/protein electroporation) and supporting pooled CRISPR screens
- Managing primary human cell material, cell banks and laboratory inventories
- Supporting protocol standardisation, documentation and quality assurance processes
- Coordinating equipment maintenance, reagent management and laboratory administration
- Supporting onboarding and training of new laboratory members
- Helping to establish efficient laboratory workflows and organisational structures
Your profile
What you bring for this position:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Life Sciences
- Good working knowledge of basic laboratory techniques including flow cytometry, western blotting, molecular cloning, PCRs, and related methods
- Experience with organoid or other advanced 3D culture systems
- Practical experience with CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technologies
- Experience handling primary human cells is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and a structured, reliable working style
- A practical problem-solving mindset combining hands-on science with laboratory coordination and operational responsibilities
- Enthusiasm for collaborative work in an international research environment
