About this role
Introduction
Glamox is a leading international supplier of professional lighting solutions. We develop, manufacture and distribute lighting systems for the global marine, offshore and professional building markets, with operations across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Our Global HR Team supports colleagues in 17 countries and works across the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to people data, compensation and growth support.
We are looking for a student to join our Global HR Team in Oslo as an HR Intern. This is an entry-level position designed to fit alongside your studies: you will work approximately two days per week during the semester, with flexibility around exam periods.
You will support the HR team with day-to-day administration and coordination. No prior HR experience is required, we will train you. What matters is that you are organized, discreet, and genuinely interested in learning how an international HR function works.
What you'll do
HR administration and people data
- Maintain employee records and keep our HR system accurate and up to date
- Prepare standard documents such as employment contracts, addenda and confirmation letters from existing templates
- Pull simple reports and headcount overviews for the Global HR Team
- Help keep HR process documentation, checklists and templates tidy and current
Recruitment support
- Post job advertisements and keep our applicant tracking system organized
- Coordinate interview scheduling across time zones and send candidate correspondence
- Support hiring managers with practical follow-up during recruitment processes
Onboarding and internal communication
- Prepare onboarding packs and practical arrangements for new colleagues
- Help update HR pages on the intranet and draft short internal announcements
- Assist with employer branding activities such as career fairs and student events
Who you are
This is a junior role, so we care more about attitude and accuracy than experience. We think you will enjoy the job if you:
- Are currently studying towards a bachelor's or master's degree, ideally in HR, business administration, organizational psychology, law or a related field. You are in your 2nd-5th year of studies.
- Are structured and detail-oriented, you notice when a date or a name is wrong.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and good judgment.
- Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in German or a Scandinavian language will be a strong advantage.
- Are confident in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Take initiative, ask questions when something is unclear, and enjoy working with colleagues in different countries
Why join Glamox
- Real responsibility from day one in a genuinely international HR function
- A close-knit team that takes the time to explain the why behind the work
- Insight into HR processes across 17 countries — useful experience whichever direction your career takes
- Flexible working hours adapted to your lecture and exam schedule
