About this role

Position Purpose

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the financial
leadership, control and performance management of the business. This role
provides oversight of all financial activities including management reporting,
cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange management, profitability analysis,
balance sheet integrity, risk management and compliance.

Financial Leadership

· Lead
and manage all financial aspects of the business.

· Provide
commercial and financial advice to the Executive Management team (GM and
Founder / CEO).

· Develop
and maintain financial controls, policies and procedures within a single source
of truth.

· Drive
continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.

Management Reporting

· Prepare
monthly management accounts.

· Produce
monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports.

· Analyse
performance against budget and forecast.

· Present
key financial insights, risks and opportunities to management.

Profitability & Commercial Analysis

· Monitor
gross margins, project profitability and business performance.

· Analyse
profitability by client, project, region and product category.

· Identify opportunities for
margin improvement and cost control.

Cash Flow & FX Management

· Maintain
rolling cash flow forecasts.

· Manage
working capital, creditor and debtor performance.

· Manage
foreign exchange exposure across USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and RMB transactions.

· Monitor
FX movements and report gains, losses and exposures.

Balance Sheet & Risk Management

· Maintain
balance sheet integrity and monthly reconciliations.

· Oversee
accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and project liabilities.

· Identify
financial, operational and commercial risks.

· Coordinate
audits, tax compliance and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership

· Supervise
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

· Review
payment runs and financial controls.

· Manage
relationships with banks, auditors and external advisors.

Skills & Experience

· CA Intern/CMA

· 5+
years experience in a senior finance or accounting role.

· Strong
management reporting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.

· Experience
with international supply chains and foreign currency transactions preferred.

· Mandarin
speakers will be highly regarded.

Key Performance Indicators

· Monthly
reports delivered accurately and on time.

· Forecast
cash flow maintained within agreed variance levels.

· Balance
sheet reconciliations completed monthly.

· FX
exposure actively managed and reported.

· Compliance
obligations met without issue.

The
successful candidate will be a commercially minded finance leader who combines
strong technical accounting skills with practical business experience and can
operate effectively across international markets, manufacturing supply chains
and project-based operations
