Vista Aircraft Maintenance (VAM) Vista Aircraft Maintenance provides both line and base maintenance for the fleet. The team ensures aircraft safety, reliability, and availability through rigorous standards, proactive maintenance, and a global network of facilities. Working across different specialties, VAM prepares aircraft for every flight with a focus on precision, quality, and compliance. By maintaining the highest standards in both safety and attention to detail, the team plays a critical role in ensuring consistent fleet performance and a seamless client experience. Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting for unlicenced engineers at our Baden Baden base. This position is a Monday - Friday, permanent position. Your Responsibilities Support line managers by performing aircraft maintenance tasks in line with the aircraft maintenance data providedWork on components and systems of airframe, structure and enginesChecking the functionality of all systems as well as replacing defect componentsPerform troubleshooting and initiate required corrective actionsPrepare, execute, follow-up and document all work steps carried out in compliance with airworthiness and current air law regulations and requirementsBeing ready for AOG support and willing to travel abroadProvide effective handoversEnsure all calibrated equipment and tooling is correctly stored, calibrated, labelled and recordedGeneral housekeeping of shop floors to maintain company standards Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Completed a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship, Armed Forces Aircraft training or Basic Engineering Apprenticeship;Basic knowledge of EASA/CAA, HSE legislation;Basic IT knowledge;Ability to work under own initiative making recommendations for improvements as appropriate;Have the right to work in Europe or the United Kingdom without restriction;Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;Must be eligible for an airside pass;Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
