Baptist Health is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan Department at our Baptist ED Silverleaf location for our Peak Staffing (Internal Traveler) Program, located in St. Augustine, FL. This position is a 12 week contract with premium pay. This position is eligible to renew their contract after 12 weeks for up to two contrac ts in total. This CT Technologist will work Part-Time, 24 hours per week, flexible days, with shifts of 6:30am-7:00pm . Rotating call and holiday included.
This CT Technologist's primary responsibilities are to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.
T his CT Technologist will be responsible for:
- Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
- Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
CT Technologist, CT Department, Experience;
- 1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
