The Sr. Product Compliance Engineer will oversee both New Product Development and Sustainability (50/50%) projects/products from a compliance, regulatory, and safety standpoint. The roles responsibilities are outlined in the bullets below. There product lines include Stationary compressors which are 3Phase electric motors, portable diesel run engines, filtration, and refrigeration.

• Look at designs and products from a compliance standpoint
• Have a good understanding of the markets/countries that they are selling to
• Look at BOM and designs to make sure that product meets state or country standard/certifications/requirements
• Work with certification agencies for scheduling their audits and onsite testings
• Develop compliance reports
• Develop test plans for agencies or test engineers/techs to perform
• Answer customer questions tied to what certain designs mean or does your product meet specific certifications
• Product safety reviews
• Work cross functionally with customer, sales, engineers, lab, agencies

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Michigan City, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $72.12/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
