Overview

Seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities from planning through turnover and closeout, ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and contractual requirements.
## Responsibilities
Lead commissioning activities including planning, startup, testing, turnover, and closeout. Develop and manage commissioning schedules aligned with project milestones. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, commissioning agents, and operations personnel. Execute commissioning plans and ensure compliance with testing, quality, and turnover requirements. Review project documents, submittals, system schematics, and sequences of operation. Track commissioning progress, deficiencies, punch list items, and corrective actions. Facilitate startup, commissioning, and quality meetings while providing project updates. Verify field readiness, checklists, and documentation before startup and energization. Maintain testing records, equipment databases, and turnover documentation. Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, engineers, and vendors.
## Required Qualifications
10+ years of construction, commissioning, or project delivery experience. 5+ years of hands-on commissioning experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC/mechanical systems, startup, testing, and performance verification. Experience on commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and MEP scopes. Working knowledge of BAS/BMS and controls systems. Experience managing commissioning schedules and project milestones. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel as needed.
## Preferred Qualifications
Data center or mission-critical project experience. ASHRAE commissioning certification or equivalent knowledge. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Experience with OFCI equipment coordination. Knowledge of QA/QC, turnover documentation, and deficiency management. Experience working with owners, commissioning agents, and operations teams. Leadership, mentoring, or staff development experience.
## Work Environment
Onsite position in Haskell, TX. Per diem provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haskell, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
