Main responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff in tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment using the relevant IT systems.
- Responsible for ensuring the team works to the appropriate H&S standardsPlan and prioritize work assignments for team members to optimize productivity and workflow while managing holidays and any sickness.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback, including coaching, mentoring, and addressing performance issues to improve efficiency
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Management of Spare Parts orders to Dealers ready for transportation from the warehouse.
- Prepare relevant reports on inventory performance.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software for tracking inventory and generating reports.
- Manage the necessary checks and remedial work required to ensure that Spare Parts are received and despatched to the required standard.
- Escalate any issues of concern to senior management in a timely manner
- Other tasks as requested by the Spare Parts Manager as required by business needs
- Generate and manage KPI measures.
- Managing MHE to ensure it’s in good order, audited, charged, clean and without any failure modes.
- Interaction with security and transportation companies for deliveries out.

Education, Skills and Personal characteristics required:

- A working knowledge of the automotive industry & warehousing.
- Any professional accreditation which is applicable to the role.
- Microsoft office software & FLT licences.
- Experience of managing people.
- Attention to detail
