About the Opportunity

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to provide front desk support for a respected, community-focused organization in Rockford, MN. What You'll Do

As the Receptionist, you will:

- Greet and assist members, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls through a busy multi-line phone system.
- Process member payments and assist with basic billing inquiries.
- Respond to questions regarding services, programs, and account information.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, shipping requests, and general correspondence.
- Monitor and respond to email communications.
- Assist with document management, filing, label printing, faxing, and other clerical duties.
- Coordinate visitor check-ins and support meetings, interviews, and appointments.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain an organized, professional, and customer-friendly front desk area.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.

Qualifications

Required

- Previous experience in customer service, administration, reception, front desk support, retail, banking, hospitality, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to provide professional service in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable work ethic.
- Comfortable handling cash transactions with accuracy.

Preferred

- Experience working in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting administrative or office operations.
- Experience working with diverse customer populations, including elderly customers.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Rockford, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
