Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30AM Start time -End when route is complete.

Generally, 8-10hr day - Occasional Saturdays.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position’s daily responsibilities are split. First half of the day will be operating our non-CDL Glass truck, collecting materials from designated routes. (approx. 30hrs/wk) Second half will be delivering and removing containers from residential and commercial locations. This includes emptying, cleaning, & repairing containers to go back into circulation. Will also pressure wash truck exteriors as needed.

- Safely operate a company trucks on specified routes to service Residential and Commercial Customers
- Read route tablet and service each customer identified on the Route or assigned by the dispatcher.
- Ability to Lift, Push and Pull 500+ Containers Using Hydraulic hand Controls.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
- Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
- Power washing, repairing, and assembling trash bins and containers
- Power washing exterior of fleet vehicles
- Maintaining an organized yard and inventory tracking
- Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable.
- Courteous interaction with our customers.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

- Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
- Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
- The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
- Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Valid Driver’s License with Clean driving record. (required)
- Pass Criminal Background Check, Drug panel Screening, and Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
- Basic knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre/post-trip inspections.
