Pharmacist

North Las Vegas, NV Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment? We're seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to improving medication access, ensuring prescription accuracy, and providing outstanding patient support. In this role, you will serve as a trusted healthcare resource for patients, oversee prescription fulfillment operations, provide medication counseling, and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Review, interpret, and verify physician prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Dispense medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and professional standards.
- Provide patient consultations, medication counseling, and pharmacy care services in person.
- Oversee prescription processing and fulfillment activities to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
- Resolve prescription-related issues, rejected claims, and medication concerns.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support efficient workflow and exceptional patient service.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory management of medications and supplies, including refrigerated products.
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor pharmacy operations and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and patient care.
- Utilize pharmacy systems to access, review, document, and manage prescription information.

Qualifications

- Active and unrestricted Nevada Pharmacist License required.
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to wear a medical mask for the duration of the shift, as required.
- Ability to perform pharmacy duties in a retail and patient-facing environment.

Schedule

Rotating shifts between:

- Monday through Saturday
- Operating hours: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
