THE JOB:

Join the backstage culinary team at the Three Michelin-Starred   Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand , where premier standards and world-class French gastronomy take center stage. As a   Pastry Cook , you will craft exquisite, high-precision desserts and pastries while collaborating with an elite team dedicated to flawless execution. If you have fine-dining pastry experience and a relentless passion for culinary artistry, step into the spotlight and elevate your craft with MGM Resorts International.

THE STARTING RATE:   23.9563 USD Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

- Follow the methods of food preparation, baking method and techniques to properly prepare and serve desserts as instructed by the Chef
- Set-up and operate the workstation based on pars established by the Chef and follow station set-up organization
- Ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperatures through the use and reading of thermometers
- List the preparations that should be completed for each day the night before
- Monitor consistency of quality, presentation and flavor of each dish
- Assemble recipes without assistance
- Communicate problems to the Sous Chef
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the work area, utensils and equipment

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- 18+ years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ Years of prior relevant experience working in a Pastry Department preferred
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
