Job Title: Chemical Technician Job Description
We are seeking a Chemical Technician to support the development and production of advanced battery materials for next-generation clean energy technologies. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside scientists and engineers in a laboratory environment to prepare materials, conduct experiments, collect data, and help drive innovation in the energy storage industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with laboratory experiments and material preparation.
- Support the synthesis and testing of advanced battery materials.
- Operate laboratory and analytical equipment.
- Collect, document, and report experimental data.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and follow established procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment and processes.
- Follow laboratory safety standards and best practices.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Essential Skills
- Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, chemical processing, production, or other technical environment.
- Experience working with chemicals, laboratory equipment, or material processing techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and chemical handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Interest in chemistry, materials science, clean energy, or advanced manufacturing.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
Work Environment
The work environment includes a laboratory setting with a clean room. You will be working closely with a collaborative team of scientists and engineers, gaining hands-on experience with advanced materials and battery innovation. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Leandro, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
