About this role
Your responsibilities
- Provide expert application support to customers across the US working with ZI's T&M instruments (lock-in amplifiers, impedance analyzers, AWGs)
- Conduct onsite system integration, demos, and training at customer laboratories
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support sales growth and customer retention
- Represent Zurich Instruments at trade shows, conferences, and academic events across the US
- Collaborate with the global sales and product teams to relay customer feedback and application insights
- Produce technical content including application notes, presentations, product documentation, and demo videos
- Actively develop your commercial skills in a role that blends deep technical work with customer-facing impact
Your profile
- PhD or Master's in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related experimental science with hands-on lab experience
- Solid practical experience with dynamic signal measurement — familiarity with lock-in detection, impedance spectroscopy, or waveform generation is a strong plus
- Comfortable with scientific programming, ideally Python, for instrument control and data analysis
- Strong communicator who can explain complex technical concepts clearly to both academic and industrial audiences
- Customer-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in building relationships and developing commercial skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently across a large territory
