Diesel Mechanic
Pay: $35–50$/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Benefits: PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k) match
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components
- Perform inspections and identify equipment issues
- Troubleshoot fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems
- Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Welding/fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
