Job Responsibilities

- Oversee and complete installation of residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation.
- Serve as the on-site lead, managing job flow, labor, and coordination with other trades or departments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job scopes to ensure correct system placement and installation.
- Ensure all work is performed to local code, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
- Provide direction and mentorship to apprentices and junior installers to support skill development.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and ensure proper start-up, testing, and commissioning of systems.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, explaining system functionality and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure materials and tools are prepared ahead of each job and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Identify and report installation issues or job delays to the Install Manager or Project Coordinator.
- Represent the company professionally on every job site with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- EPA certification (Type II or Universal).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and local codes.
- Ability to lead a crew and manage job flow independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied conditions.
- Proficient with or willing to learn dispatch/job tracking software.
- Professional, dependable, and safety-focused.
