Technology Designer/Engineer (Low Voltage Communications, Security, and A/V Systems)
Location: fully onsite in DTC (Mon-Fri) Role Overview: The Technology Designer/Engineer leads the design and delivery of low‑voltage communications, security, and audio‑visual systems across a wide range of vertical and horizontal projects, including airports, healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, K-12 and higher education campuses, and sports facilities and parks. This position is fully on‑site at the DTC location and blends hands‑on technical design work with client-facing project management. You’ll own projects from concept through construction administration, collaborate with architects and engineers, and ensure all designs meet industry standards, codes, and client expectations. Core Responsibilities
- Low‑voltage system design for telecom, security, and AV systems
- Create detailed drawings, models, and specifications (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam)
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines
- Prepare Division 27 and 28 specifications
- Conduct code and standards research (ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEC)
- Support construction administration and QA/QC
- Participate in client meetings and internal project reviews
- Provide guidance on internal processes and standards
Required Skills
- 5+ years designing low‑voltage telecom/security/AV systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong understanding of ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEC
- Familiarity with industry equipment manufacturers
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and prioritization skills
Preferred Skills
- RCDD certification
- Government project experience
- Network systems experience

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood Village, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
