The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for an Accounting Manager. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing as well as 2+ years of management experience. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with an international or global organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial close process and prepare accurate financials to ensure timely reporting to corporate and joint venture partners
- Oversee cost accounting processes including inventory control
- Analyze manufacturing variances and identify cost savings
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
- Lead and develop accounting staff including supporting team development and employee engagement
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA, MBA or CMA preferred
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of progressive accounting within a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years managerial or supervisory experience
- Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
