About this role

Description

Position Overview:

- Provide friendly, attentive, and personable service to guests

- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to restaurant standards/recipes

- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the shift

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

- Create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for guests

- Stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and managers

- Learn and confidently speak to our cocktail menu and tequila selection (suggestive selling)

- Follow all restaurant, health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines

- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

- Help keep the restaurant clean and running smoothly

- Be dependable, positive, and willing to jump in wherever needed

- Work well as part of a team

- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Shift availability: Part time; primarily dinner shift 4pm-close; **weekend availability required**

Compensation: with tips; $22-$33 hour

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

- Bartender experience required

- Ability to utilize restaurant POS software

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment

- Great attitude and positive outlook

- Strong customer service

- Team player with a strong work ethic

- Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.)

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

- A thorough knowledge of mixology, wines, liquor and cocktails is required.

- Ability to utilize restaurant POS software

- Great attitude and positive outlook

- Strong customer service

- Ability to stand for a long time and move quickly

- Excellent oral communication skills required

- Relevant training or certificate

- High School diploma/GED

- Bartending experience preferred but not required
