CLA is seeking an Assurance Senior to join our growing Financial Services Group . In this role, you will work closely with financial institution clients, delivering high-quality audit, review, and compilation services while serving as a trusted advisor and mentor to team members. This role can be based in one of our strategic growth markets, including Indianapolis, St. Louis, or Dallas .
How you'll create opportunities in this Assurance Senior role:
- Participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements serving financial institution clients.
- Assist with engagement planning and all aspects of financial statement preparation.
- Coordinate, delegate, and review the work of Associates to help ensure quality and timely client service.
- Support the development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities.
- Collect and analyze data to identify control deficiencies, duplicated efforts, fraud risks, and non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
- Perform analytical reviews of financial information and identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with clients and team members while contributing to a positive team culture.
What you will need:
- 2 years of relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
- Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred
- Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
