About the Role

As an Industrial Painter, you will play a key role in preparing, painting and finishing a wide range of mining equipment and components. Working within our workshop team, you'll help ensure every product leaves the workshop to the highest quality standard while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills, learn from experienced professionals and contribute to a high-performing workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, blasting, masking and sanding

- Apply industrial coatings and paint systems to mining equipment and components

- Ensure all work meets quality and customer specifications

- Conduct inspections and identify defects or areas requiring rework

- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools

- Follow workshop procedures, quality standards and safety requirements

- Work closely with workshop tradespeople, supervisors and planners

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop

What We're Looking For

Essential

- Experience in industrial painting, protective coatings or a related trade

- Strong commitment to workplace safety

- High attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Current driver's licence

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
