CDL-A Local Live Haul Driver – Good Pay + Bonus | Home Daily
Earn $80,000 per year on a dedicated live haul account with home-daily routes, a Monday-Friday schedule, and a $5,000 bonus . Transport live chickens from local farms to the processing facility while earning additional stop and training pay.

$80,000 Average Annual Pay
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,600
- $5,000 bonus
- Stop pay: 0-1 year: $51
- 1-3 years: $52
- 3+ years: $53
- Safety training: $20/hour
- Approximately 1,024 miles/week
Job Details
- Pick up and deliver live chickens from local farms to the processing facility
- Operate flatbed trailers
- Average 3-4 inbound loads per day
- Approximately 15-20 stops per week
- Secure chicken cages at farms using a cheater bar
- Farm routes include grades, bumps, and ditches
- Drivers are responsible for proper load securement
- Complete orientation online
Shift Details
- Monday-Friday
- Start times between 12 PM-4 PM
- Home Daily
- Required to work 1-2 Saturdays per month
- Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to safely operate on challenging farm roads
- Ability to secure chicken cages using a cheater bar
Equipment & Training
- Automatic and manual day cabs
- Flatbed trailers
- Trucks cannot be taken home
- Load securement required
