CDL-A Semi-Local Chemical Tanker Driver – Good Pay + Bonus | Home Weekly
Earn $103,500 average annual gross pay on a dedicated semi-local route with frequent home time. Drivers are home weekly for their reset and typically return home 1-2 additional times per week , depending on the route.
Pay Details
$103,500 Average Annual Gross Pay
- Average Weekly Pay: $2,100
- $1,000 Show Bonus: $500 after 30 days + $500 after 180 days
- Safety/Service Bonus: $200/week
- Stop Pay: $40 per occurrence
- Tanker Stop Pay: $80 per stop
- Breakdown Pay: $15/hour
- Hazmat endorsement renewal paid while on the account
Job Details
- Haul ink and other chemicals in tanker, reefer, or van trailers using totes
- Approximately 2,200 miles/week
- Outbound loads are pre-loaded
- Live unloading is completed by the receiver — no driver unload
- Additional work may be available with other nearby accounts as needed
Shift Details
- Tuesday-Saturday
- Start times between 12 PM-5 PM
- Routes may include daytime, afternoon, and evening driving
- Home weekly for reset plus 1-2 additional times per week , depending on the route
- Holiday work may be required based on routes and customer appointments
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience
- Hazmat endorsement required to schedule
- Tanker endorsement required before start date
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
