About this role

Location: Worcester, MA - Outpatient Lincoln Street Mobile Unit Program

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Schedule: Per diem

Spectrum's Mobile program will provide access to medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) throughout the City of Worcester using a specially equipped van. This mobile program will target high-need populations who have been unable to access treatment under traditional, brick-and-mortar models. Target sites to improve access and engagement in treatment include shelters, food banks, homeless encampments, isolated neighborhoods and locations with a high incidence of overdose events.

The Driver is responsible for:

- Coordinating and providing all transportation for the mobile unit, including maintenance monitoring of the vehicle.

- Conducting daily safety checks and appropriate documentation before driving the mobile unit

- Transporting staff to designated locations for the Mobile Outreach Programing.

- Effectively managing crowd control and monitoring for safety both in the common areas of the mobile unit and parking areas.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Minimum of high school diploma or GED required

- Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred

- Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record

- Must display the use appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies

- Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, staff and regulatory agencies.
