Job Summary
The INSURICA University Specialist is responsible for supporting the INSURICA University corporate learning initiative by developing engaging, interactive training content and coordinating live learning opportunities for colleagues across the INSURICA community. Working in close partnership with internal subject matter experts, the Specialist utilizes approved artificial intelligence tools to accelerate the design and development of SCORM-compliant training content for deployment through INSURICAs learning management system, and helps develop, organize, and deliver live training events, in person and virtually, ensuring training programs and resources align with and support INSURICAs strategic initiatives and direction.
Job Functions
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to identify, scope, and prioritize training needs across systems and technical applications, sales development, insurance knowledge, and leadership and personal development
- Utilize approved generative artificial intelligence tools to develop initial drafts of interactive, SCORM-compliant training content, refining and finalizing all content in collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with INSURICA standards
- Package, test, and deploy finalized training content to INSURICAs learning management system, ensuring SCORM compliance and functionality, as well as a quality learner experience
- Apply INSURICAs AI governance and data classification policies in all AI-assisted content development
- Review and migrate existing or new training programs to new, or appropriate, training channels
- Understand and effectively communicate available methods and techniques for training at INSURICA
- Oversee and maintain marketing and promotional materials to effectively communicate and promote internal and external training and development opportunities and INSURICA University in general. (i.e., training calendar, newsletters, flyers, social media advertising, etc.)
- Administer and facilitate INSURICAs INSURICA DNA program for new colleagues
- Provide administrative support for INSURICA University Board of Regents meetings, including but not limited to, scheduling, agenda preparation, and minutes
- Develop, organize, promote, and facilitate live training opportunities for colleagues across the INSURICA community, in person and virtually, including coordinating internal subject matter experts and external presenters
- As appropriate, prepare and schedule physical conference rooms, or virtual meeting spaces, for in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions
- Administer and track training invitations and completions as required

Qualifications
Job Requirements
- 2 – 4 Years previous administrative, training, or learning and development experience preferred
- Previous video editing and light graphic design experience preferred
- Associate degree preferred
- Previous insurance experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated aptitude and curiosity for emerging technologies, including hands-on experience with generative artificial intelligence tools, preferred
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, changing priority environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong PC skills, with the ability to effectively utilize Microsoft suite of tools as well as virtual conferencing systems
- Familiarity with online meeting platforms including scheduling and conducting large virtual meetings
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing and graphic design software
- Aptitude for utilizing generative artificial intelligence tools to draft, refine, and enhance training content, with a willingness to learn and experiment with new tools and techniques
- Familiarity with learning management systems and SCORM-compliant e-learning content, or the ability to quickly learn e-learning authoring and deployment tools
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with comfort leading live training sessions, in person and virtually, for groups of varying sizes
- Self-motivated, with the initiative to prioritize and be self-directed
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both colleagues and managers across all levels
- Ability to promote and maintain a team environment, willing to find accommodating solutions for our customers, companies, and the Agency
- Ability to successfully adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as maintain strict confidentiality
Work Conditions
- Ability to perform approximately 90% sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and negligible force frequently
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally
- Requires operation of a computer workstation, including keyboard and video display
