Walters Hospitality is looking for a Director of Facilities to lead the maintenance, compliance, and asset management of our growing portfolio of high-end hospitality venues. This is a senior leadership role that partners closely with executive leadership and Operations to ensure our properties are safe, well-maintained, financially responsible, and consistently meet Walters brand standards.

- Maintain Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with life-safety and facility requirements, including fire panels, extinguishers, hood systems, sprinklers, backflow testing, elevators, and other critical building systems.

- Protect Brand Standards: Conduct regular property and facilities audits to ensure venues consistently meet Walters standards for safety, appearance, functionality, and guest experience.

- Oversee Construction & Acquisitions: Support the transition of new construction and acquired properties into Operations, including punch-list completion, mechanical deficiencies, warranty management, and facilities integration.

- Build & Develop the Team: Lead, coach, and develop Facilities Managers, Technicians, and administrative support while establishing consistent expectations and processes across markets.

- Support New Market Growth: Develop cost-effective facilities staffing strategies as Walters expands into new geographic markets, balancing temporary, hybrid, and permanent resources based on property needs.

- Standardize Training: Establish consistent onboarding and training practices for facilities leadership, including department processes, CMMS systems, service expectations, and financial controls.

- Manage Vendors & Contractors: Oversee vendor relationships, RFPs, competitive bidding, contracts, service-level agreements, quoting, and invoice approval processes.

- Leverage Technology: Utilize Corrigo and other facilities technology to manage work orders, track assets, monitor maintenance trends, and measure departmental performance.

- Lead During Emergencies: Respond effectively to high-pressure facility emergencies, infrastructure failures, and business continuity situations.
