Overview:

SCCI is looking for a Configuration Management Analyst II to join our team! In this position, you will provide Configuration Management (CM) support to a Combat System program. This position is available for immediate hire. It is an on-site position located in Dahlgren, VA and provides support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center.

Responsibilities include:

- Perform configuration management / data management functions: planning, configuration identification, status accounting, configuration control and audits, data management

- Attend and participate in various Baseline (B/L), Working Groups, and Integrated Program Reviews meetings and brief documentation production, scheduling, and delivery status at Program Office and Certification Panel meetings

- Prepare correspondence, plans, and reports for assigned program(s) and customer(s)

- Represent the CM team at program meetings ensuring that CM concerns are communicated and impacts to CM are brought back for issue resolution

- Assist in the development and maintenance of CM processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

- Perform equipment audits to the Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU) for various supporting programs and distribute audit reports

- Prepare software delivery receipts utilizing appropriate database

- Manage software release packages for distribution

- Process incoming software for distribution and maintain accurate software configuration records

- Manage and document receipt, movement and shipping of all Hardware, software and documentation

- Process Site Change Implementation Notices (SCINs) utilizing current ticketing system and audit database

- Perform weekly facility walkthroughs, documenting all unreported changes to labs and equipment

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance

- High school diploma

- Three (3) - Five (5) years of Configuration Management or Asset Management experience

- Comprehensive knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management support

- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in formal reports across all organizational levels preferred
