Charter Steel is hiring ​DAY SHIFT Banding Operators $24.25hr + $2,000 sign on bonus!

2 Positions Available at Charter Steel — 1658 Cold Springs Rd. Saukville, WI 53080

​Banding Operator | 5am - 5pm| $24.25/hr

- Enter and m onitor order data into the computer.
- Accurately identify coils by printing and applying tags throughout the process.
- Operate coil compactor and other coil handling equipment.
- Operate hydraulic and pneumatic hand tools.
- Operate a forklift.
- Teamwork & communication is essential in this role
- Follow all safety & quality procedures
- Frequent standing, walking, kneeling. Push/pull, and lifting up to 20lbs. Reaching over 15" away from your body
- Rotating 5-2-2-5 Schedule. 12 hour shifts. 5 nights on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off!

What We’re Looking For:

- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. If you don’t have it, we’ll support you through our free GED Works program.
- Skills: Quick learners who enjoy working with their hands.
- Team Players: Strong teamwork skills and excellent attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow safety instructions and maintain high standards.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial production, machining, set-up, metals industry
- Forklift experience is a plus!
