Would you like to work with world-class journalists at a digital media company seeking to reinvent the way it covers news and reaches readers? The San Francisco Chronicle is looking for a reporting intern to join us for an exciting summer of covering Bay Area sports teams and the issues that surround them. This paid, 12-week intern will hit the ground running, covering a variety of stories from the office and in the field, but will also receive training and mentoring, and a working knowledge of the complexity of a modern digital news operation. Breaking news and game-day stories will be areas of focus, but there will be opportunities to pursue other topics, data-driven and enterprise stories, with the candidate’s areas of interest, experience, and career goals taken into account.
