Job Title: Senior Electrical Designer Job Description Join our dynamic team of Electrical Engineering professionals committed to excellence at our Orange County office. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer with at least seven years of experience, eager to grow and thrive as a team player in our innovative multi-discipline firm. This role involves designing both large and small commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, education, federal, and industrial projects. Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee analysis and design on a variety of commercial and institutional building projects.
- Collaborate with architects, owners, and contractors to deliver high-quality electrical drawings.
- Participate with a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute electrical designs.
- Interface with contractors during construction to ensure effective results with minimal complications.
- Work closely with the Discipline Manager to assist in design and drawing production.
Essential Skills
- Electrical building systems design for commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, or federal projects.
- Building power distribution design.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- California consulting engineering experience.
- Over 7 years of electrical design experience.
- Experience coordinating with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- California project experience.
- Experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD.
- Knowledge of Title 24.
- California PE license is a plus.
Familiarity with SKM and ETAP. Construction administration experience. Exposure to low-voltage systems. Experience with electrical studies using SKM and/or ETAP. Work Environment The preferred work location is Orange County or Long Beach, with a focus on retention and commute sustainability. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
