Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Executive Housekeeper oversees all housekeeping operations to ensure a consistently clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role provides leadership, directs daily workflow, maintains standards, and ensures guest satisfaction through effective team management and quality control.

Essential Functions

- Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.

- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.

- Maintain housekeeping supply inventory and place orders as needed.

- Train, develop, and coach staff on cleaning procedures and service standards.

- Monitor labor costs, supply usage, and budget needs.

- Prepare staffing schedules and assign daily tasks.

- Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to resolve issues quickly.

- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.

- Lead regular team meetings to communicate expectations and updates.

- Use all computer systems as required by the location.

Other Functions

- Assist staff during high-demand periods.

- Perform additional duties to support smooth operations.

- Pre and post-storm preparations.

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous housekeeping leadership experience required.

- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules.

Education & Experience

- High school diploma required; higher education preferred.

- Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

- Budgeting and supply management.

- Staff training and development.

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to push/pull housekeeping carts and equipment.

Work Environment

- Indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions.
