Field Service Technician, Surgical (Sydney, NSW)

## Position Summary

Do you enjoy working with technology, solving complex technical problems, and making a real difference for customers? We're looking for a motivated, hands-on technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality service and support.

This role is ideal for an experienced technician with a background in surgical equipment , including operating tables , surgical lights , and digital integrated operating room (DOR) systems . The position is based in Sydney and involves travel throughout the metropolitan area, with occasional trips to regional locations.

## What You Will Do

- Performing scheduled maintenance on operating room equipment.
- Assisting with Installing and commissioning of new equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out urgent repairs.
- Responding to emergency service calls
- Managing your Trunk stock and ensuring inventory is up to date.
- Providing top-tier customer service and technical support

## What We're Looking For

- Hands-on experience in technical maintenance, servicing, and repair.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting (preferred).
- Understanding of data communications, networking, and fibre optic technologies.
- Ability to work in operating theatres, including during live surgical procedures.
- Strong computer and IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Current and valid driver's licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Willingness to travel, including to regional and rural locations as required.
- Flexibility to work after hours..
